Who's been suffering insomnia due to unexplainable itching the last week? I have, I have! Who's been immersed in various Sonic franchises for almost a month now? I have, I have! Who finally gave in and got up at five in the morning on a Sunday only to waste the next six hours drawing/colouring bad Sonic fanart? I DID, I DID! Hooray!

Sonic Underground... oh, god, it was bad, wasn't it? The chubby character designs, the fighting battles with the power of music, and the music itself...? Oh, cringe at the memories, people, cringe at the memories.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I adore Jaleel White and all that, but he set the standard for all three hedgehogs' voices in that show, and even though they used different artists to sing... those voices were not made for singing.

Despite all that, I do have a soft spot for Underground. I liked the siblings and their relationships, I thought Sleet and Dingo were awesomesauce, and--I admit--I liked the fact they used Sonic's little known affinity for music as a plot device. Even if I would mute the TV for most of the songs...
